ABOUT THE LHFA TROPHY

The Max McGee Trophy is one of the most coveted trophies in the land. However, there are certain unwritten "rules" that govern the handling of this trophy.

1.)  The winner of the Championship is the Master of the Trophy. His reign as Master begins when he is presented the Trophy at the draft, following his Championship victory, and lasts until he presents it to next year's winner at the draft (unless, of course, he defends his championship!).

2.)  At the following draft, the past winner of the Championship is directly presented the Trophy by the previous year's winner.

3.)  Only two people are ever allowed to touch the Trophy: the Master, and the Caretaker of the Trophy (Brian Milito). The Caretaker is only allowed to touch it when he cleans the Trophy, and adds the newest team plaque. Everyone else is allowed to look, but they cannot touch. If for any reason someone other than the Master, or the Caretaker, needs to touch the trophy, the trophy must first be covered with a towel.

4.)  The Trophy will be returned to the Caretaker upon conclusion of the Sub-Shop Classic up to 1 month in advance of the draft. The Caretaker can appoint a league member as a designee to transport the trophy to the Caretaker, if the Caretaker cannot directly receive the trophy from the previous holder.

If you want an addition to the rules send them to the Commish for approval.  If you don't like it... tough... send all comments and complaints to the webmaster.
