B. Game Play Rules

Game Startup/Export
1.
The two opposing coaches will agree beforehand on a date and time to
play. When that time arrives, one of the coaches agrees to host. Typically,
this should be either the home coach, OR the coach who has more computer savvy.
The host will start the game, find his IP address, give this to the other coach,
start the game, and then tells the other coach to connect. The other coach then
dials in, and connects to the host computer.
2.
Upon game completion, the host coach immediately must export the game
file, and then send this file as an attachment (to an email) to the LC. At this
time, both game coaches should send any comments regarding the game to either
the LC (rob_simon89@hotmail.com) or
the Webmaster (brega@optonline.net).
Note that general “coach comments” should be sent to the Webmaster; complaints,
suggestions, etc. should be sent to the LC.

Game Play Rules
1.
TRICK PLAYS may EACH only be used ONCE PER HALF. So, you can call a Flea
Flicker and a Reverse in the same half. The complete list of trick plays: Hail
Mary, Flea Flicker, Reverse, End Around, Double Reverse, Trick Pass, QB Option,
and Hook & Ladder. ANY VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN EITHER THE
OFFENDING COACH TO LOSE A DRAFT PICK NEXT SEASON, OR WILL HAVE THEIR
LOWEST-RATED STARTER SUSPENDED FOR THE NEXT GAME! THE PENALTY WILL BE DECIDED
BY THE LC. I have been lax on this
rule in the past, but continued abuse of it by certain coaches has caused me to
enforce this rule. If a coach breaks this rule a SECOND time, then that team’s
HIGHEST-rated starter will be suspended for the next game. A THIRD occurrence
will cause the suspension of the highest-rated starter for 5 games.
2.
The HAIL MARY may only be used with LESS THAN A MINUTE TO PLAY IN EACH
HALF! ANY VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A PENALTY AS DESCRIBED IN THE
PRECEDING PARAGRAPH.
3. A coach should not take longer than a minute to call a play on EITHER side of the ball. If one coach needs to take a bathroom break, get a drink, etc., common courtesy dictates stating this to the opposing coach through a chat window.
